- my company got bought by one of our competitors. i still have a job. and more engineering resources. and less territory. score.
- comfortably laid out on a beach (in South Carolina of all places!) on New Years Day.
- i broke my apartment lease early. i haven’t started packing yet.
- jim and i have been on the search for somewhere to live. hopefully the house we are viewing tonight is ‘the one’. (we each have A LOT of kitchen stuff - gonna be tough to compromise and and trim down the ‘mine’ and ‘yours’ into ours. all the rest of our stuff should mesh together just fine like a puzzle piece.
- i changed my first diaper… because we babysat a 2-3 month old for 24 hours. everyone is still living and breathing and ok. :) (it’s true… they’re hungry every 3 hours)
- broke out in a crazzzy all-over rash for days. still haven’t found the culprit.
- i get to meet my niece tomorrow!
- booked a trip to NYC…haven’t been since i was 8 (i think). we booked a few other trips, too.
- finally walked into an ALDI. trust me - buy all of your produce there.
- Dixie should be done with her chemo in 2 weeks!! fingers and toes crossed.
…and it’s only Jan. 12th :)
